Interbourse is an annual ski and snowboard race week, hosted and organised by a different stock exchange each year. Up to 500 people from the global financial community meet up for a full week of skiing, snowboarding, racing, mountain lunches, dinners, après ski and partying. There is serious official team racing and a thrilling parallel slalom competition, but also the guest race provides an opportunity for anyone to try out racing for the first time. Many areas of the financial industry are represented at the event – CEOs, Stockbrokers, Bankers, Portfolio Managers, Private Equity, Traders, International Exchanges, Wealth Management, Family Office, Analysts, Clearing Houses, Data Vendors and more. All levels of skiers and non-skiers are welcome.

The first Interbourse was held in France in 1969 with participants from three European exchanges. London joined in 1970. In recent years c. 20 different stock exchanges from all around the world have taken part in competition.

The Stock Exchange Ski Club is an active supporter and regular host of Interbourse. Typically the London team comprises between 30 and 50 skiers.
